Marc Martin is the President of Texas MEP. He started the company in 2010 after working in the industry since 1995. In 2001, Marc acquired his Texas Electrical Master's License and shortly after acquired his New Mexico EE98 Contractor's License. Throughout the years, he has worked as a project manager handling mechanical, electrical and plumbing scopes for various projects, including commercial, industrial, manufacturing, retail and residential encompassing several differently sized projects. Marc proudly assembled a staff comprised of leaders, experts and overall highly experienced people. No job is too big or too small for Texas MEP. He prides himself on serving the customers' needs with the upmost diligence and conviction. Marc and his team are committed to proudly evolve with the times and provide customers with the latest technology available to meet their needs. Under Marc's leadership, Texas MEP proudly provides services to Texas and New Mexico as an industry leader.
Armando is Vice President and co-founder of Texas Mechanical Contractors, LLC and he is responsible for HVAC/Mechanical operations. He has a 32 year background in the HVAC Industry performing project management, mechanical planning, design build, installation of mechanical comfort systems equipment, air conditioning, refrigeration, heating and ventilation duct work systems in schools, hospitals, corporation buildings and military bases. He monitors project performance to ensure compliance with the owners/general contractors' expectations and the company's quality standards. Armando is a licensed mechanical contractor in the state of Texas and in the state of New Mexico.
Javier joined our team in 2010 as the service manager. He brought with him 30 years of experience in the HVAC industry of which 25 of those years he worked in the service department in industrial, commercial and residential. Javier holds an EPA Certification and is certified in Trane, Carrier, York and Rheem air conditioning. Javier is also certified in the following: Hoshizaki, Scotsman, Manitowoc and Ice-O- Matic Ice Machines, Diakin, Mitsubishi air conditioning, as well as Lancer and Follet soda fountain machines.
Ernesto joined Texas Mechanical Contractors as an HVAC Field Supervisor. He brings 34 years of professional skills in the areas of management and supervising. Ernesto is a great communicator and utilizes this skill to motivate his team and ensure their work is carried out with the up most professionalism and is finished on time. Prior to joining Texas Mechanical, he was an HVAC field supervisor for 10 years at Border Mechanical Contractors. Ernesto is certified in Industrial Maintenance as well as Trane Air Conditioning and York Air Conditioning.
Tim joined Texas Mechanical Contractors as a service manager bringing with him more than 35 years of experience. His certifications include the PNC Equipment Balance Agency Vibration which he received in 1986 and the Environmental Protection Agency Certification which he received in 1994. Tim was born and raised in the southwest and attended Irvin High School in El Paso, Tx.
Sofia joined Texas Electrical Contractors, LLC. in 2016. She is in charge of day to day expenses, verifying, classifying and recording accounts payable as well as payroll processing. Sofia has 5 years of experience working as an accounts payable clerk. She earned an Associate Degree in Liberal Arts at EPCC.
Derek joined Texas Plumbing Contractors LLC as a laborer in 2011 and became an assistant plumber in 2012 prior to leaving to finish his BA in Mechanical Engineering. In the summer of 2016 after graduating from University of Texas at El Paso with his Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, Derek returned to Texas Plumbing Contractors LLC as a purchasing manager. Derek has since been promoted an is now part of our mechanical department as an HVAC Estimator.
